Management of Nigeria’s bilateral relations with countries in Asia and Pacific Region.
Ensure achievement of Nigeria’s National interests as it relates with countries in Asia and Pacific Region.
Broaden economic cooperation between Nigeria and Asia and Pacific countries.
Develop framework for more Foreign Direct Investment in Nigeria.
Develop effort to ensure support of Asia and Pacific countries for Nigeria’s political aspirations in the International Organisations (U.N., AU, NAM, G-15, G.77 and China , etc.) and building of goodwill towards execution of Nigeria Foreign Policy objectives as they relate or affect Asian and Pacific countries.
Preparation and conclusion of Bilateral Agreements, Joint Commissions, etc. with these countries.
Preparation and conclusion of Bilateral Agreements, Joint Commissions, etc. with these countries.
Attending to consular matters, including the protection of Nigerians and their interests in the Asia and Pacific countries;
Relations with the Diplomatic Missions established by countries of Asia and Pacific Region in Nigeria

Economic Cooperation between Nigeria and Asia and Pacific Region.
Incentives for Foreign Direct Investment as offered by Nigeria to the world or to countries in Asia and Pacific Region.
Nigerian markets and tourism potentials.
