- Department charged with responsibility for the day to day control and supervision of all the departments in the Ministry in collaboration with
the office of the Minister. - Responsibility for initiation and formulation of policy on matters
within the purview of the Ministry. - Handling of personnel matters in collaboration with OHCSF and FCSC
- Responsible for expeditious and faithful implementation of Government’s policy directives and decisions.
- Establishment and administration of Nigeria’s diplomatic missions
abroad. - Promotion and protection of Nigeria’s national interest and the
conduct of relations with the outside world.
