FUNCTIONS

Management of Nigeria’s bilateral relations with countries in Europe.
Ensure achievement of Nigeria’s National interests as it relates with countries in Europe
Broaden economic cooperation between Nigeria and European countries
Develop framework for more foreign Direct investment into Nigeria
Develop effort to ensure support of European countries for Nigeria’s political aspirations in the International Organizations (UN,AU,NAM,G-5,G-77,ETC) and building of goodwill towards execution of Nigeria Foreign Policy objectives as they affect European countries
Preparation and conclusion of Bilateral agreements, joint commissions, etc with these countries
Campaign for and election of Nigerians into International Organizations with countries of Europe
Attending to consular matters, including the protection of Nigerians and their interest in European countries
Relations with Diplomatic Missions established by European countries in Nigeria
